That's a good point. I still think there is a huge difference between his voice in the summer of 2011 and his voice during the fall tour 2011 with Mark Knopfler. In my opinion, Summer was a great tour, the Luxemburg-show (Esch btw.) that I've attended in fall 2011 was probably the worst show I've ever seen from Bob. Pure barking.
Yes - very true. There was a falling off ... although on the boots, I still enjoy the later shows. Boots can mislead of course .. I am pretty sure 1966 shows sound a lot better now than they did at the time!
2011-2012 always get a bad press. Gotta say that I like them. Love the rasp.
