Let’s start things off with our

BONUS Moment of 2024, although it’s more of a joke:

The Creation of The Daily Dylan!

Back in May 2024, around Bob’s birthday, I’ve created the Daily Dylan on Instagram and Substack. I wanted to play around a little with these sites to see how people like what I have to share / create about Bob Dylan. And I was astonished how things developed. There was a lot of positive feedback and I already met many new people along the way through The Daily Dylan.

So I want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU!

Thank you for supporting this “project” right from the start, seeing the Instagram account grow so fast to now roughly 22,000 follower is simply amazing and overwhelming!

The most intense time certainly was the fall tour this year, where I was able to see 13 Dylan shows in Europe, including the 3 fantastic shows at the Royal Albert Hall and 3 shows in my hometown Frankfurt.

I’ve also written some concert reviews, that you can find here and here! Trying out some other style of writing, I’ve written a long essay about the real story and timeline of Bob Dylan high school bands that you can find here!

We have a lot of plans cooking for 2025 and can’t wait to start things off next week with another episode of our Daily Dylan podcast!

1. The Wrench Incident!

While the 2024 summer tour was so different in so many ways, this was certainly a standout moment! It was funny and weird at the same time, and it surely went viral in the online world!

I know that many of you think that it’s weird to place this on no1 instead of maybe the Biopic, but it’s simply my own personal choice! :-)
