Bob Dylan was doing Bob Dylan things last night in Raleigh. After two turbulent shows with a lot of unexpected changes he just kept the setlist from the night before. Below the setlist as confirmed by Boblinks. The only change spotted was that he did not play the harp at Early Roman Kings.
Nevertheless, this tour is still packed with excitement and most likely full of surprises, still, especially since Bob has now 2 days to recover and get ready with new ideas.
Let’s go for the last 8 shows of this leg:

The Never Ending Pool - Update
This tour is amazing for players of the Never Ending Pool, so let’s have a quick look at the current standings after the 3rd show of this leg, and I ain’t hiding that I keep my fingers crossed (like you know who) for team Paupers and Peasants and Princess and Kings (currently #7)!
Here’s the top 20 individuals:

Big shout out to Johannes who runs the pool game! Thanks for it.
Fall tour rumors continue
Amidst all the excitement of the current summer tour, we already have an eye on the next tour. All rumors considered, we are maybe only weeks, maybe days, away from an announcement of the fall tour, which almost certainly takes place in Europe.
2 years ago, when we were also anticipating a European Fall tour, the first shows leaked around July 8th. So, an announcement after the first leg of the current summer tour could make sense.
Bob Dylan’s High School Band’s
As we are approaching a 2-day-break from touring, we will continue with our series of Bob Dylan’s High School bands tomorrow where Bob’s post-Golden-Chords-band is trying to make a name for themselves, but they have quite a rival in town! Make sure to not miss out on that one and if you can, we would highly appreciate if you could forward / recommend this newsletter to a friend or two.
Bob Dylan #onthisday:
Today 14 years ago I have attended my second ever Bob Dylan show. It was summer tour, it was in Barcelona, and it got me hooked. When he was singing Girl From The North Country I thought that it was one of the most beautiful moments ever. It was the start of a long, great journey which is thankfully still ongoing.
Thanks for supporting the Daily Dylan!
