So much going on currently with Bob and the guys being out there on tour… I myself am jumping back on the tour train tomorrow for the third Berlin show and will attend the next seven shows.

I will write a review after the Berlin show (and after some other shows, too) which will be content available for paid subscribers.

Last Night in Berlin

For the first two songs last night, Bob was on guitar! Partly facing Keltner or sitting in his piano chair while strumming. Clearly, this was to lead the band into the songs the way he wants them to go and give them sort of a structure.

According to the first reviews, there was a lot of experimenting going on on stage and Watchtower was close to a complete mess (but I wasn’t there!). The show lasted 10 minutes longer than usual, due to long instrumental parts.

It's just funny to imagine Bob sitting in his tour bus or lying on the bed in his hotel room, with nothing to do, smartphone in hand, scrolling through X and just feels like belting one out himself.
