"A Complete Unknown" World Premiere today! Will HE show up?

We are aware that not every subscriber on here is enthusiastic about the upcoming Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown” (What a name!). Nevertheless, today is the world premiere in Los Angeles coming up and after a series of pre-press screenings, were press attendees were only allowed to do so-called “Social Instant Reactions” (see video below), we now can expect more and more reviews to come in as the hours and days pass by, but to warm things up we want to drop one written review and one from YouTube already:

“If you have hang-ups about Dylan’s chronology, there are a few absurdities. We see Bob buy a toy police whistle from a sidewalk stall and take it to a recording studio where he records “Highway 61 Revisited”. Then he staggers to the Chelsea Hotel and into Joan Baez’s apartment (?) where he begins earnestly writing ‘It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)’ in the early hours of the morning and an exasperated, sleep-deprived Joan throws him out. As every Dylanologist knows, “Highway 61 Revisited” was recorded after Newport and It’s ‘Alright Ma’ was recorded six months before.

Chalamet’s performance is brilliant – with the reservation that when you flatten someone as complex and protean as Bob Dylan into a conventional mould, something is lost. Alan Lomax and Albert Grossman seem like caricatures but this film isn’t about them.”

Will HE show up?

Of course, everybody is eagerly waiting to see if Bob Dylan himself will show up at the world premiere.
Of course, nobody is really expecting that to happen.
Of course, Bob always exceeds expectations.
