Introducing myself and The Daily Dylan!

First of all, I want to thank you all very much to be subscribers of the Daily Dylan newsletter. We are around for roughly a quarter year now but we are still pretty much in the building stages.

As next steps, we are now going to launch our YouTube channel, where we will not only upload most of our podcast episodes, but also some other Dylan-related stuff that you guys hopefully might find worthwhile and interesting.

To start things off and as a first video, I’d like to introduce myself and tell a little bit about myself and the Daily Dylan.

For all German subscribers, Thomas Waldherr just released his latest edition of his Key West magazine which includes a more in-depth interview with me and the plans and ideas from The Daily Dylan.

What can you expect in the future?

Within the first few weeks of the Daily Dylan project I’ve written an longer essay about Bob Dylan’s high school bands and split it into different parts. You can check them out here or on our Substack. And we want to continue to write about certain aspects of Bob Dylan’s work and life, so make sure you stay tuned for that!

But we also want to do some Dylan-related book reviews and podcasts with authors of Dylan-books. We want to talk with fans from around the world. We want to deliver some interesting insights from the road, when I’m following some Bob Dylan concerts (like upcoming fall in London and Frankfurt) and organize preshow-events for fans.

Currently, all content is completely free. As we are growing and things get more time consuming, there will also be certain content that is exclusively for our paid subscribers. If you feel that the content is valuable enough for you to support it, we appreciate it a lot and you can “downgrade” to a free plan at any time.
