The Daily Dylan Podcast
We received amazing feedback for the first episode of our Daily Dylan podcast, where we interviewed Peter McKenzie about his book and the time Bob Dylan lived with him and his parents in New York City! A lot of work and time went into this first episode, so we appreciate every bit of feedback or any review!

Summer Tour 2024!
What a great time it is to be a Bob Dylan fan! He just wrapped up his Summer Tour with 26 appearances in 3 legs throughout the US, now we are only 16 days away from the Fall Tour and the (probably) last part of the Rough And Rowdy Ways Worldwide Tour!
Not to forget the rumors concerning some East Coast shows to conclude the year, even after the conclusion of the Fall Tour at the London Royal Albert Hall.
For the next three days, we want to give a last look back at the Summer Tour shows.
Today: Part 1! 11 shows throughout the north east!
Nobody knew what to expect. Many a-rumor was making the rounds about who’s joining or leaving the band, if he is going to play a greatest-hits or not.
At the first show in Alpharetta, GA, he certainly surprised everyone with the setlist and the news, that Jim Keltner was back! He opened the show with Willie Dixon’s “My Babe”.
Setlist first show in Alpharetta:
Still, after the great surprise(s) of the first show, nobody knew how things would go on. If anything, what would he change?
Quite a lot, it turned out. At a bonus episode from his podcast “Songs of Experience”, Henry Bernstein talked with Robin Haar and Adam Selzer about their expectations and the experience of attending the first three shows. Worth giving a listen.
Setlist second show in Charlotte:
Guest Harp Player in Syracuse
At show #5, Mickey Raphael joined Bob and the band on harp for "Simple Twist of Fate”, which Bob added to the setlist at the previous show in Virginia Beach.
For the rest of the first Summer Tour leg, the setlist stayed the same. The leg concluded with a great show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, from which there is a great recording in YouTube:
For those 11 shows, Bob and the band did not sound like they did 10 days of rehearsing. But they found each other more and more over the course of June and July.
Tomorrow we will have a a look at the second leg, which with 7 shows was the shortest of the three.
Great review. Looking forward to part 2!
